The
Combined County Authority Board has collective responsibility for
decision-making, acting in the best interests of the East Midlands
Combined County Authority area.
The
Combined County Authority Board membership consists of the
following:
(a)
The
Mayor
(b)
Two
elected member appointments by each Constituent
Authority
(c)
Up to a
maximum of eight Non-Constituent and Associate Members
The
Mayor and the Combined County Authority Board, and its supporting
governance framework will work together in collaboration, in the
interests of the people of the East Midlands.
The
powers of the Mayor are to be exercised
through collaboration within the Combined County Authority Board,
and in partnership with all relevant stakeholders wherever
possible.
